Since moving back in with my parents the day after graduation, I have discovered something: living at home postgrad is SO different than living here on breaks during college. Being back in my hometown as a recent college grad seems strange and unusual, and so many things about being back are impacted. Hence, a new series from me, “Postgrad with my parents.”

As much as I don’t like to admit it, I am afraid of many, seemingly insignificant, things. So, as a post-grad, attempt at growing up, I am starting a challenge for myself, and, because I love alliteration,  am calling it “Face Your Fear Friday.” Every Friday, I am going to attempt to work through one of my fears, right here on Hitchcock Blogs, and, in writing about my experiences with them, hope to maybe become a little less afraid. And maybe, encourage some of you to face your fears, too.

Growing up, I watched my fair share of The Muppet Show, and that was fine, because I was a young kid. The show had a decent storyline, and was entertaining because it wasn’t a cartoon and yet wasn’t all real-live people.  Sesame Street also had the same appeal for me as a kid, with the array of puppets as the main characters mixed with real-live actors. Both great kids shows.

For four years, I was at a school that I loved and adored (which if you can’t tell that by now you clearly aren’t actually reading my stuff). However, I was also at a school where athletes were royalty, and academics took the fall.
